It was 2006, I was meeting with a gentleman who wanted to do a corporate video for his company. To start the project, within few days I’ve been invited to come and do things in Rourkela in the steel plant. Usually I used to take orders on the basis on words on those days. After breakfast, I got a call from the founder, he picked me from the hotel I was staying, and he was showing me local area and pure organic food they are growing, within the whole few hours of driving, we have been talking about nature and how he is doing in life. While driving, he was getting calls and wanted to concentrate. So he parked the car in a side area (If was like village now as we crossed the city area long back). I wanted to publish them, and couldn't find comics publisher on those days. While looking for the “Why” I got in touch with a movie producer and distributor based in Chandni Chawk area.

When I was in school, I used to watch a lot of cartoons in TV, there was a question how they do it! I saw a documentary film in TV on how Disney does 2D animation, and I understood the concept of classical animation, the problem was how I can get the light-box. So if you don’t get it you build it. Hence I built a light-box looked like a primitive one, and took that to local carpenters to make them understand what I want. One of them really helped me to make it proper, I made 7 with him which became my tool to teach classical animation to the student’s. I am not sure on those days how many institute thought to making that instrument in Kolkata, I never had a concept called market study.
All alone with passion I was making one simple racing game, I had no idea how to sell it or where to sell it, I was a unguided person who thought if I can be a awesome programmer and can do amazing graphics and animation, I’ll become great businessman. To tell you honestly, I was not earning a lot, I was paying 90% to my employees, and the flat I bought, took most of my savings. I greeted everyone, and opened my coat; put that in my back-pack, started walking towards my small hotel, while walking I experienced different Mumbai, the city which never sleeps, is almost not moving at all. Less number of public transports, I saw ambulances running like mad; saw fear of people, in far distance I saw people are asking for medical help. I was supposed to travel in few parts of Asia, my plan was to attend one event in Singapore and explore the tech –innovation market in Singapore itself.

Hence I applied for the same and accepted by Google global while I was hosting several GBG meet-ups in Kolkata along with several other business chambers and Bong Entrepreneurs', time came when I've to visit their Singapore office for all GBG leaders worldwide.
It was a room-sharing with another person basis for two days in Singapore, I went for sharing with another person who is not from India.
He is from Africa, once I landed and entered in the room, it's already time for a little food. Few others from India and him, we went for a food hunting.
